DECISION OF YOUR LIFE

Sometimes you have to make changes in your life and the decision is very important. You will have to talk to your spouse, family, relatives & not forgetting friends. Support from your spouse/family is important as they play a major role in our lifes. There are times that you do not agree with them in different situations and there are times that you need to agree and relook on what their opinion. Implementing or trying to do what best for yourself need full support from them. Myself, now as I have made up my mind not to work for people but work with people. I've been working for people for quite sometime and is time to change by doing my own thing. Work with people is more fun & interesting. You get to know lots of new friends, gain knowledge from them and basically in Malaysia we mix around. I like to mix around with other races as their way of thinking and opinion sometimes does work. Mixing with them doesn't mean we have to follow what they do, where they go & etc. It gives you the courage to move up or in other words "pandang ke depan" and guidance for you.

Great to have those that really give supports and trying or helping to make your decision of your life achieve.

PUBLIC SPEAKING

Have you ever had that fear feeling when you have to talk about something in front of group of people? Like today, I have to voice out my experience with guests that comes to do transactions with the bank. Told them ( group of all the bank employee) what I've experienced and the satisfaction when guest replied "thank you" to you once they have accomplised what they would do. Got a token from the bank..yipee. I have to deal with them - from the right, left, front & back and this is with the great assistance from all the employee there. Thanks guys.. After me, another staff being called to say out her experiences. She got the token also.

Afterthat, one of the staff said "Wah, you soo good in public speaking la. You talk very calm & steady." Felt nothing though as I talked to many guests daily. Maybe for her, its something that she had never seen or seldom see people like me talking in english fluently. I told her that it comes from my public speaking time in school and also my former job that makes me deal with lots of foreigner. She's quite surprised on my voice projection as not so many "malay" can speak well english. I'm not trying to "puji" myself but it's true whereby lots of people (tak kira bangsa or agama) can't speak that well. Unless your education background is in English.

Some of them, talk in "bahasa rojak", mix them. Tak bagus la. This is where we should practice our languages...if you want to speak in English..all the way speak English. If you want to speak Bahasa.....all the way la. I'm just implementing this practice from childhood. When I'm at school, I speak in English. At home, I use bahasa. It also require self confidence and courage to speak in front of people.

Practive makes perfect.

WALK YOUR TALK!!

It's not easy to Walk Your Talk. Bukan senang la. Certain people only can voice out ideas, comments or etc..but to do it, to implement it. It takes full effort, concerntration and most importantly CONSISTENCY!! Do I have it? Really not sure right now. It's really hard la but I'm starting to feel it.

My mission is to create my own branding of muslim sportswear. Need to find the right manufacturer, need to have our own design (if not, nanti org kata kita tiru org punya design), need to set up office/stores and most important is need to have MODAL!! Some people may say that money is not everything...yes it's true. But to start business like this, you need to have money support. Nowadays, people don't just hold to their words, they hold to your money.

Well, I have to apply this "Modal" to start up my business. Your paperwork has to be really good. Otherwise, they will simply reject your application. Surf through some of the people that start up their business online from home. Interesting and really motivating!! Salute them all. I have to start from scratch.... It is important to WALK YOUR TALK if you really want things to happen. Insyallah, dengan restu Allah & family members, my mission will be come reality. I have put some deadline to myself....Let see what will happen....

CUSTOMER SERVICE

Currently I'm working as a temp for one of the international bank as a "Service Ambassador". This will only be for 2 months..nak cari duit raya la. Well anyway, daily I have to make sure the banking hall area clean, tidy, brochures/pamphlets replenish & etc. Quite interesting job as I will have to serve guest that wanted to use the bank service. Quite challenging as I am not familiar with their policies & procedure. But it was fun as basically I will be based in the banking hall to assist any guest that require assistance.

Sometime, some guests do not know how to use the cash deposit machine or the scan cheque machine. I will have to assist them in either guide them to us the machine & filling up the forms for them. Ok la. Mostly those old guests that comes alone & you can see on their face that they are LOST!! So far, I've managed to assist them. There are times, loads of guest just walk in at the time bank will closed for the day and others will be packed at lunch hours. Meeting guests is one of my previous job task so it's not that hard. Just have to brush up on the product knowledge of the bank. The job is fun & interesting where NO PAPER WORK REQUIRED except for the daily report that I've to do - straight forward report...not complicated. Other than that, I'm assisting one of the staff to do daily mailing distribution & etc.

Yang best sekali, work only 5 days a week & Saturday/Sunday is OFF day. Wow!! Feel so good whereby on Saturday no need to work!! Well, I'm still doing my "fitness business" with hubby.

SPORTS WEAR FOR MUSLIM LADIES

I've been dreaming of branding my own sports wear especially for muslim ladies. Islamic sports wear are popular among muslim ladies in UK, US & Arabic countries. Casual sports clothing, training, aerobic & also swimming attire. Fabrics, colours and most important is it will covers the whole body except face, hands & feets. Some of us (that wear tudung) wanted to move freely, comfortable, keeps you cool during your activities. I believe lack of proper sports wear for muslim ladies especially in Malaysia. Whenever I go to the beach, I can see that people "mandi" with their black t-shirts, track bottom (bila air laut masuk kat dlm poket, jadi kembung), not safe and not comfortable. Not forgetting wearing the "ordinary tudung" also. Everything is soaking wet and of course definitely will attrack the eye of a man. Like when I do aerobic, I only wear those "small scarf" (macam key) kat kepala just to cover my hair, neck (tak dpt cover). Unless if I wear the normal tudung, it will make me uncomfortable when it comes to it's fabric. The pants (legging) is quite expensive and not soo many choices. Long-sleeved t-shirts is expensive and normally for ladies the "cutting" is small and the length is till your waist or "punggung". Nak angkat tangan tinggi-tinggi pun tak selesa cos baju tu pendek. Unless you buy those men long-sleeved t-shirts that will make you look bigger whereby the length sometimes reach your knee.

I know the price is rather high if we purchase from overseas and that is one of the reason I'm looking into this project. I wanted to create something that is not too costly (affordable) and also comfortable for all ages (children up to women). Some of us wanted to move freely and enjoy whatever outdoor activities that we want to do.

Suggestion anybody??

NO MORE "MACHO"

I used to be "macho" at a moment in UITM. For those who knows me, they will understand what I'm saying. Missed some of the activities that I normally do. The "merentas desa", netball, camping especially orientaring through the jungle. The group that I've joined lost their way. Ya Allah! Kecut perut masa tu but we've managed to get out. It was the next day when we managed to find our way out. This was adventuring for me!! I will not forget this incident.

I remembered one of my lecturer, she gave me an advise that I will never forget for the rest of my life. You want to know? Tak boleh lah, secret!! It has changed my life since than. I used to be rough, "selekeh" - when going to classes most of them grooming - pakai baju cantik-cantik, make up & some of them wore "extra" accessories. Me, rambut basah-basah pegi class. He he he...those days where amazing for me. I don't really recall why I choose the DSS10. Maybe it's already "ketentuan" from Allah s.w.t. But I'm glad of the changes in my life and ber"syukur".

No more "macho" for me. Hubby was not really surprised when I told him that. Huh, I think I still have the "macho" touch once a while. Maybe he sees that. Really missed those days where the canteen food - got coakroaches, pasar malam, fasting month - take turn to get the food from canteen, always last minute study and not to forget my favourite "karipap pusing". Satu hari mesti kena sampai 3 keping. Syakilla always reminded me not to eat too much of karipap pusing coz I kena budget. Almost everyday I have to buy macam dah addicted to it. Still loads of memories that still in my mind.

Memories in UITM, Bandar Sri Manjung - Perak will remain forever in my memories.
